West Worthing Evangelical Church is an reformed independent evangelical church affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).
We are a group of people who meet to worship God, encourage one another to live God-honouring lives and share the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are a church family who:
Meet together to praise and Worship God
Seek to encourage others to live lives in obedience to God’s word, the Bible, in the power of the Holy Spirit
Share the Good News about Jesus Christ in our community, country and around the world.
We would like to welcome you to our church family – Come as you are.
We try to make our services as helpful and relevant as possible so we sing songs of worship (some traditional and some contemporary) which not only express our love and gratitude to God but also strengthen our understanding of what he has done for us. There are readings from the ESV version of the Bible so that we might hear together what God has to say in a particular passage, and prayers are offered both for the needs of our world and of God’s people. The sermon seeks to be faithful to God’s Word and to speak relevantly to our needs and daily life.
We live in a world where we are continually bombarded with all kinds of theories, ideas and concepts... some of which seem quite fanciful, and whilst others are plausible their truth and viability have yet to be proved! However, the Bible with its God-given message has been around for thousands of years and found by millions to be true.
